I’ve been coveting this thing for well over a year now! It’s a Zuiko 50-200mm lens for my camera. The 35mm film equivalent length is 100-400mm. Throw on my EC-14 1.4x teleconverter and this thing will go long to 560mm. Now, it should be fun for me to hand hold this puppy at the races. I might be using that tripod collar and my monopod a little more often than I like….
I’m a huge fan of the Jason Bourne movie series (Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum) and today it was announced that Matt Damon has signed on for the 4th installment in the series. Sweet!
Universal Studios says the star will return to play the amnesiac spy once more.
On the heels of ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ winning three Academy Awards, Daily Variety reports that Universal Studios has wrangled MATT DAMON and director PAUL GREENGRASS to commit to a fourth Jason Bourne film.
In junket interviews for ‘Ultimatum,’ Damon had implied he was done with the franchise after three movies. But huge box office and a close working relationship with Greengrass — who directed ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ and ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ — may have been the deciding factors in his choice to return.
Sunday night, ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ scored a hat trick with Oscars for Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing.
Although many of us Seahawks fans, particularly on our usenet group, anticipated that this was the direction the team was going to take awhile ago – it has now become official that Jim Mora, Jr. will be the new Head Coach of the Seattle Seahawks beginning in 2009 after Mike Holmgren retires following next season.
I like this move as I think Mora is a very good coach who had a real bad situation in Atlanta where he was stuck with a QB (Vick) who was multiple times more marketable than he was talented. The owner made a commitment to Vick – I think we all know how that turned out – and Mora paid the price for their lackluster results even though he did lead them to the NFC Championship game. He’s a defensive minded coach and it will be interesting to see how they continue the offensive philosophy going forward in regards to the West Coast offense. Ideally, I hope they keep Gil Haskell as OC and let Hasselbeck and team follow the same system that they know so well.
In any case, I believe the Seahawks are in good hands going forward.
