I finally got around to adding some wallpapers to The Racing Historian website for 4:3, 16:10, and 16:9 (1080p) formats. Enjoy!
Yes, I’m working on a few things to bring this blog back to life. With facebook, twitter, and all the other social networking venues available today, I wasn’t sure how I was going to use the site going forward. I know have a couple of ideas.

More slagging by myself when it comes to posting here! I post info on Facebook quite a bit so posting here has become a 2nd thought over the last several months. I really need to update several things around here, but I have a few other projects that have taken precedent lately and a few more I still need to tackle.
Anyways, I just wanted to say hello and let anyone who visits here know I’m still alive and kicking!

I just uploaded a new iRacing video to my YouTube account. It’s a lap around Watkins Glen International in a Radical SR8. I suggest going to YouTube and watching it in HD (Click on the “Watch in HD” link), but I’m going to embed the video here as well. It’s not my best lap, a few corner errors – but it’s a decent lap that does a good job of showing off the fantastic laser track mapping that iRacing performs. Second to none.
Like my friend Beast, I’ve been tagged by Squidly to post the 6th photo from the 6th page of my Flickr stream. Unfortunately, it’s not even “my” image. Not to mention, I don’t really use Flickr any longer because of all their issues with protecting copyrights (or lack there of). Anyways, the photo is a scan of a vintage racing photo taken at Shangri-La Speedway in Owego, NY from the 70s.
